Housing developments are being approved on an enormous scale and going up in more and more rural regions such as here. The waste products from the building industry are often toxic and deterimental to human health. The lorries that will take this route, passing local schools will poorly effect the air quality and health of local children. My child has asthma and I am deeply concerned about the impact this will have on her. All too often these permits start off permitting something far more measured, then quickly develop in to something on a far larger scale, taking advantage of a poorly monitored situation. The roads here are already dangerous and this is an ill considered application.
