Regulation at IGas' site at Tinker Lane

The environmental permit was issued in November 2016.  It sets out conditions for operations covering surface water, safe storage of waste and noise from mining waste activities. Exploratory drilling began on site in November 2018 and was completed on the 17 December 2018. During the drilling operation IGas have not found Bowland shale.

We regularly attend the Community Liaison Group where we provide advice and guidance about our role and updates on the site.
