We have reviewed the responses we received to this consultation. The Navigation consultation response document below summarises the responses we received to these questions and outlines our plans for the future of navigation charges.
We would like to thank you for taking part in the consultation.
We are working on a 5-year charging plan for Navigation for 2019 – 2023. As part of this we will review our current boat registration charges scheme with the aim of creating one that’s simpler and more consistent. We will run two consultations whilst developing this plan – this consultation enables you to have your say on the first. A second, more detailed, consultation is planned for later in 2018.
This is a major piece of work, the biggest review of Navigation charges in many years. Therefore, it is important to us to get as much feedback from our customers as possible to these questions to help shape our future proposals.
If you provide us with your email address in the "Your Details" section you can save and return to the consultation at another time.
Our consultation on “Consultation on Environment Agency's Navigation boat registration charges 2019-2023” has now closed and we would like to thank all those who took the time to respond.
We will now be analysing these responses and using them to help shape our future proposals. Our response to the consultation will be published by the 26 April 2018 and it will be made available on this web page.
Thank you for your interest in this consultation, please use the contact details on this page if you would like to get in touch with us.
