Overview

TAKE NOTICE that due to the threat of a serious deficiency of supplies of water for compensation flows in Belmont Reservoir at Belmont, Greater Manchester (National Grid Reference: SD 67417 16414) caused by an exceptional shortage of rain, the Environment Agency ("the Agency") is applying to the Secretary of State for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for a drought order under Section 73 of the Water Resources Act 1991.

This site allows you to view documentation relevant to the application free of charge for 7 days from the date the notice is published. 

The site will not accept comments.
