Standard rules consultation no. 18: revision of standard rule set SR2018 No 9 - medium combustion plant

Overview

The Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 allow us to offer standard permits to reduce the administrative burden on business whilst maintaining environmental standards. They are based on sets of standard rules that we can apply widely.

This consultation proposes a revision to a standard rule set SR2018 No9 to allow secondary abatement for tranche B specified generators.

This consultation proposes an amendment to the existing standard rule SR2018 No.9. We will consider your comments and produce a consultation response document that sets out our final view on the proposal.

We aim to publish the new standard rules set in January 2019.
