Standard Rules consultation number 31 - Proposals to update Standard Rules Permit 2008 No9 storage of asbestos waste

Overview

The Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 allow us to make standard rules to reduce the administrative burden on business while maintaining environmental standards. This consultation proposes a revision to the standard rules permit for asbestos waste transfer stations. We would like your views on these proposals. We will take account of the consultation responses and publish the consultation response together with the revised standard rules sets  on GOV.UK.

Responding to this consultation

This consultation will run from Monday 29 September until midnight on Monday 22 December 2025. We will consider all responses received by the closing date before finalising our proposals to submit for approval by government.
