You said

Over 140 people responded, which was fantastic- thank you!

The majority of people responding were already involved in citizen science, and were motivated to participate in citizen science out of concern for the environment and a desire to help improve the health of the environment either by direct action or by contributing useful information and evidence for use by others.

Respondants shared views on how they felt the Environment Agency could support citizen science.

Overview

The Supporting Citizen Science internal Environment Agency project is engaging with citizen science groups and partners across the country to better understand the type of citizen science that is happening in and around the water environment.

Why your views matter

We would really appreciate your feedback on whether you are involved in citizen science and what information or guidance from the Environment Agency would help to support this work.

This survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete and your views will help to steer our project and inform internal and external guidance produced.

Please do not provide any names or personal details on this form.

Thank you for your valuable contribution.
