Salisbury River Park

Closed 7 Jan 2021

Opened 19 Nov 2020

Feedback expected 11 Jan 2021

We are working in partnership with Wiltshire Council in the creation of Salisbury River Park.  This is a joint consultation on phase 1 of this River Park and on the Salisbury River Park Masterplan. The River Park will reduce flood risk within Salisbury city whilst enhancing habitats and public enjoyment, improving fish passage and reducing the flood defence maintenance burden along the River Avon. We are seeking your views to guide the design and ensure the scheme serves the city in the best way possible.

Why your views matter

As part of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process, which is a planning requirement, we must be able to demonstrate that we have carried out an effective consultation.  We also want the scheme to work well in an integrated way, for the whole city.  Therefore having your opinions is important in informing the design process.

The closed consultation page, hosted by Wiltshire Council, can be found here: Wiltshire Council consultation page
