The 'road' to EKR from the Western Link is along a 'public footpath'. So this once delightful walk is now polluted by the exhausts of an endless number of HGVs. These also make the walk dangerous. Much of this area is 'protected', is a 'nature reserve' - so all the birds, animals and plants now suffer not only from the exhausts, but also from the noise. And also from constantly flashing lights, once its dark. Of course, the noise increases the closer you are to where EKR's HGVs are unloaded and the 'recycling' takes place. How much asbestos will be floating in the air? And, apart from affecting walkers, Oare residents, and the wildlife, what about the new houses being built next to EKR? How will they bear the noise? How will the polluted air affect these new residents and their children? HGVs should be confined to motorways!
