Land Contamination It is understood that the intrusive investigation undertaken by Geodyne identified white asbestos in shallow soils at the site. Geodyne have advised that any groundworks will need to be undertaken with consideration to the Control of Asbestos Regs 2012 (CAR) which requires actions to ensure the protection of workers and general public from asbestos exposures resulting from work activities. It is advised that the EA request a Method Statement from the applicant for any groundworks at the site.
