we start with what happen in the past with companies which are more concern with making profit ,rather than people who live in the area. A most strict plan and updated with no extensions, needs to be in place for its operational life, which is reasonable for residents and company. the health of people and the environment is paramount. I would suggest that the top management and owner live in the area AVONMOUTH village. maybe a local contribution of a inflation link price per ton processed or better landed , so if stay on the quayside the price per unit go up.So to sum up more controls to monitor the activities of the company ,financially , environmently, morally , no expansion, benefit for the wider community, A promise of above average wages . all this to be paid for by the company and not the rate payer or tax payer. Bristol council to do their bit to introduce a mix of highly skilled jobs in to that area, no more dumping unwanted environment problems in the area . NHS to agree to check the health of people on a voluntary basis in the area on a yearly basis until the plant closes, paid by the company the check to be carried out locally. all letters to be presented to local MP ,councillors ,and the public for transparency.
