Managing salmon fisheries in England and on the Border Esk

Closes 9 Oct 2017

1. Your details

We would like to find out about where you fish and/or the type of salmon fisheries that you have an interest in. By providing this information we will be better able to understand the context to the answers that you provide us with to the consultation questions. We also want to quantify and be sure that we have received responses from all sectors that may be affected by, or have an interest in, any new approach to managing salmon fisheries. This information will therefore help us to accurately record who has responded to this consultation. Your details will only be kept for this consultation and any future work directly related to this. This information will not be passed onto anyone else within the Environment Agency or any third party for any other purpose.

How we will use your information

The Environment Agency will look to make all responses publicly available during and after the consultation, unless you have specifically requested that we keep your response confidential.

We will not publish names of individuals who respond, personal information or financial data.

We will also publish a summary of responses on our website in which we will publish the name of the organisation for those responses made on behalf of organisations.

The Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015 commits future Governments to publish, and then report on, their performance against a deregulation target – The Business Impact Target (BIT), which covers the economic impact of new or amended regulation on business and civil society organisations.

The BIT concerns the regulatory activities of central government and relevant regulators, such as the Environment Agency. As part of this duty we are carrying out an assessment of the financial impacts of the possible options. You can help by responding to the questions we have included to determine these impacts and inform our decision making.

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004, we may be required to publish your response to this consultation, but will not include any personal information. If you have requested your response to be kept confidential, we may still be required to provide a summary of it.

For more information see our Personal Information Charter.

What is your email address?

By providing your email address you will be able to return to edit your consultation at any time until you submit it. You will also receive an acknowledgement email when you complete the consultation and we will notify you when the summary of consultation responses has been published.
